About Solo Pilates Eugene

Solo Pilates Eugene is dedicated to private, one-on-one teaching of the Pilates Method in the Southwest Hills Neighborhood, using state of the art Balanced Body equipment. The Solo Pilates Studio is beautiful and serene, a refuge, workshop and sandbox--a place to take time out and focus on your own needs. 

Certified Pilates teacher Kathleen Au brings a well-trained, experienced eye and a sense of fun to help clients achieve dynamic balance—easy, lifted posture, freedom from pain and limitation—joy in movement.

Whether you are recovering from illness or injury, coping with a chronic condition or are seeking to enhance performance in dance, sports or hiking, or whether—as Joseph Pilates envisioned—you spend many hours at your desk and are seeking to regain your fitness and “Return to Life,” Kathleen will tailor each session to best suit your condition, needs and goals.

Over the years, Kathleen has taught Pilates to many people with complex physical challenges, including spinal pathologies, hip and knee replacements, osteoporosis, obesity, osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis, cancers, cardiovascular pathologies, etc., as well as perinatal Pilates, including prevention and healing of diastisis recti.
